Eglin AFB hosted the Thunderbirds, it was awesome, they flew over the AMVETS Post many times, we watched them from the parking lot and had a grand old time while they punched holes in the clouds. There was also a Scout Jamboree at the same time this weekend, i spent a lot of time out with the scouts looking at all thier activities, this was the 100th year anniversary for the Boy Scouts, and Henry Rifles made a commemorative rifle for this, nice rifle, the scouts were auctioning it off, last bid I saw was $1,550. a tidy sum for the scouts, I am sure the bids got higher. The turn out for the scouts was incredible, estimates were over 1,000 scouts attended. fun was had by all, Thunderbirds, Scouts, and Veterans alike had one hell of a weekend. Pictures will be posted at a later date.
Yall take care, and enjoy the sun
